- What: Jambo Festival
- When: Saturday 16th February, 2019
- Where: Stirling Civic Gardens
- Who: The Organisation of African Communities of Western Australia (OAC)
- Why: To celebrate to the diversity of Africa
Our team headed down to the Stirling Civic Gardens along with thousands of people to celebrate the fifth Jambo Festival! Showcasing a variety of music, dancing, food and traditional costumes from African culture, the day was a huge success.
This year was even bigger for the free event. Once of the goals of the festival is to break down stereotypes and misconceptions. Because Move Homes has a multi-cultural team, we understand how important it is to have a mutual respect for all cultural and religious communities.
It was great seeing such strong support for the African community and congratulations to the OAC for organising a fantastic evening. We are proud to support the OAC so look forward to many more events!
